This cheese is made from young cow's milk and sheep's milk. Matured with pieces of red pepper in the cheese. It therefore has a slightly spicy taste.
Soft cheese with creamy flesh, small holes and medium ripening. Made from cow's and sheep's milk, 100% Italian. It is a tradition in the Marche to flavor cheeses in different ways. In the past, this caciotta was prepared exclusively in the winter period with sweet chilies and is linked to the custom of agricultural norcineria (the art of preparing salted meat).
INGREDIENTS: Pasteurized cow's milk, pasteurized sheep's milk, chili peppers (min. 0.4%), salt, rennet, selected enzymes. Contains no preservatives and has an edible crust.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: For optimum taste, remove from refrigerator and keep at room temperature for several hours before consuming.
